The course is a general introduction to two emergent IT technologies: autonomous systems and blockchains. Technical content limited to practical examples. The goal is to make you aware of what these technologies are, and how they can help design modern software systems. Part I will define autonomy, agents and multi-agent systems, provide the basics of game theory, and then overview the kind of interactions agents may exploit the achieve goals. Part II will define what the blockchain is, why it matters, how it works, and then provide more technical details on a specific blockchain, Ethereum, and on smart contracts. Final Exam: fill a quiz (multiple choice + open question)
